"PARTICIPATION, EMPOWERMENT IN PRACTICE" EXHIBITION

LOEB LIBRARY, HARVARD UNIVERSITY
In collaboration with: Andres Lepik, Michael Hooper, the Participation Lab
CONTRIBUTION: Initiation, Team Coordination, Diagram Drafts, Book editing (ongoing)

“Participation: Empowerment in Practice” was the first exhibition at the Harvard Graduate School of Design that addresses the issue of Public Participation in Planning and Design. The initiative to build this endeavour emerged at the end of Professor Hooper’s class, Participation in Planning and Development: Theory and Practice. As participants in the class, we realized that there was something we could do to contribute to our environment here at the GSD. Through the exhibition we found a new space for exploring the tools of participation within the design profession.
